We are serving dinner at the NH American Legion this Tuesday May 8 from 4 to 7PM. If you missed last night’s meeting, please reply with the hour which you can serve. This is service time for our sponsor which supports our unit with $2500+ annually.

Wednesday 9 NH Rotary pancake ticket money is due. Kris Sierson is coordinating. We will have sign ups for serving on Saturday May 12 in 2 hour increments from 7 to 11:30 AM. This is a unit service project as well. You are expected to participate!

Wednesday will be the last opportunity to sign up for the Spring Council STEM Camporee at Griffiss being held on May 18-20.

We have several May Events which you should make note of:

May 2- Summer camp fees are due.

May 4-6 Spring Trip

May 8 – We committed to help serve the dinner at NH American Legion 4-7 PM, we will need at least 4 to 5 scouts in 1- hour shifts.

May 12 NH Rotary Pancake Day 7 -12 AM, we will need 6 to 8 scouts in 2- hour shifts. You were given Pancake Tickets to sell. Money can be brought in this week or next.

May 16- The Troop meeting will be at St. Thomas Church do to a school concert.

May 18-20 Council STEM Camporee at Griffiss. You won’t want to miss this one! You need to preregister ASAP

May 23- Place Flags on Veteran’s graves at Greenlawn Cemetery 6 PM (Prior to the Troop meeting).

May 28- American Legion Veteran’s Day ceremony at the NH Veteran’s Park 3 PM.

If you haven’t signed up for the spring trip May 4-6, to SUNY Purchase- Ropes course and aerodrome, you need to let me know ASAP. The cost per scout is $50. You will be staying in a cabin w/bunks at Durland Scout Reservation. Please respond by this Wednesday as we need to complete our plans.

This is the last reminder regarding the Spring Trip to the SUNY Purchase ropes adventure May 4-6.
If your are going and have not signed up, yopu must have your $50 in by next Wednesday.

I need a list of who is going on the spring trip to the ropes course at UNY Purchase. $50 deposit required.
We will have at least two visitors this week. A Webelo scout from P-14 and a Scout from T-9.
Kyle Grover’s Eagle Court of Honor is scheduled for April 14 at noon. We need a list of attendees for this event as well. We will be inducting new scouts and havng a regular Court of Honor prior to The Eagle presentation.

Our annual Father/son campout is March 9-11 at Camp Kingsley. We will be in the heated dining hall w/flush toilets. The cost for food is $12 per person due at the troop meeting this Wed. I will not be at the meeting so give the money to Ben O. We will hold our monthly leaders meeting after lunch. Moms as well as dads are welcome to attend this event.

I still have a bunch of Camp Cards for sale. Tis is a great opportunity to earn some $$ toward summer camp. The cards sell for $10. There is over $100 of discount coupons on the card as well as a smart phone app which allows the card to be used any place a smart shopper book is accepted. Scouts get to keep $5 for camp the remainder goes to the Council and to pay the company for the cards.

There will not be a troop meeting on March 14 as the school is being used by others. The American Legion has asked us to help with their month dinner on Tuesday March13. (this will be our weekly meeting). The dinner runs from 4 to 7PM. We will need servers and bussers throughout. You can sign up for a time on Wednesday, see Chris O. This is not an optional deal it is service to help our sponsor. Everyone is expected to help!

All: I picked up 100 camp cards at the Camp Kick off meeting. If you are interested in earning $$ toward summer camp, this is an easy way to do it. Each Camp Card sells for $10 and has coupons for $$ off an t many local retailers and restaurants. It also has a scan bar code for smart phones which enables it to be used almost anywhere in the US.

if any of the boys in the Troop need any Community Service time to help out serving hot dogs or assisting with children games etc. I know the Troop is busy & will be at the NH Legion for the Tuesday night dinner on March 13th but told her I would make this request. T50 has some space in their contingent for the West Point Camporee on April 27-29, 2018. The need to know ASAP if we have anyone interested. Please let email know via email!

Leaders: We will hold our monthly leaders meeting this Wednesday at 6 PM (prior to the weekly troop meeting0. We need to firm up the spring trip, summer camp and two upcoming Eagle Court of Honors. As always, parents are welcome to attend and participate.
